O~DINANCE NO. 76 -68 BY: Messrs. Gaydos, Graber, Kelley, Usher, Wendling A_N EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to vacate that portion of Robinwood. Avenue extending south from Franklin Boulevard to and including 1585 Robinwood Avenue on the east and 1584 Robinwood Avenue on the West. WHEREAS~ On the 17th day of July, 1967, the Council of the City of Lakewood adopted Resolution No. 4579, declaring its intention to vacate a portion of Robinwood Avenue~ and~ WHEREAS~ Notice of the adoption of the above Resolution No. 4579 has been served upon the owners of all the property abutting Robinwood Avenue affected by said Resolution, notifying the said property owners of the time and place at which objections can be heard before the Board of Revision of Assessments~ ands WHEREAS, On the 2nd day of August, 1967, the Board. of Revision approved ti~e vacation of Robinwood Avenue~ hereinafter more particularly described, in accordance with the provisions of Article XIV, Section 28 of the Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood~ and, WHEREAS~ This Council is satisfied that there is good cause for vacating Robinwood Avenue and that it will not be detrimental to the general interest and ought to be made, and, WHEREAS~ This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now° therefore~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the following described property be and the same is hereby vacated: Situated in the City of Lakewood, COUnty of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio~ being part of Original Rockport Township Section Number 22~ in the Walton Brothers Lakewood Heights Allotment as shown by the recorded plat in volume 25 of Maps, Page 14 of Cuyahoga County Records and bounded and described as follows: Beginning at tl~e southwesterly corner of Franklin Avenue (60 feet wide) and the westerly line of Robinwood Avenue (60 feet wide) thence easterly along the southerly line of Franklin Avenue s distance of 60.28 feet to the south- easterly corner of Franklin Avenue (80 feet wide) and the easterly line of Robinwood Avenue~ which is also the north- westerly corner of Sublot Number 3~ in the Walton Brothers Lakewood Heights Allotment as shown by the recorded plat in Volume 25 of Maps, Page 14 of Cuyahoga County Records; Thence southerly along the easterly line of Robinwood Avenue a distance of Ad0.00 feet; Thence westerly at right angles to t'he last described line a distance of 60°00 feet to the westerly line of Robinwood Avenue; Thence northerly along the westerly line of Robinwood Avenu~ a distance of 485.83 feet to the place of beginning.
