ORDINANCE NO, 90-68 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Graber, Huffman, Kelley, <br /> Usher, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures <br />of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31, 1968. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, An Emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of <br />the public property, health and safety md. to provide for the usual daily <br />operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from the General Fund: <br /> <br />0190800 Civil Service $ 500 <br />0190900 Public Works 500 <br />0191100 Planning 350' <br />0191200 Building 1,750 <br />0191800 Public Lands & Building' 6,500 <br />0193500 Health 1,600 <br />0194100 Sewers 3,500 <br />0195100 Sidewalks 20,000 <br />0196100 Swimming Pools 5,000 <br />0199000 Transfers 90,000 <br />TOTAL $ 129,700 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from the Sewage Disposal Operatin~ <br />Fund $10.000. <br /> <br />Section 3. That there be appropriated from the Street Construction, <br />Maintenance and Repair Fund $25,000. <br /> <br />Section 4. That there be appropriated from the Hospital Fund $183,000. <br /> <br />Section 5. That the Director of Finance be and is hereby authorized to <br />draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in <br />this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by the head <br />of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing the <br />President of Council shall approve all claims of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 6~ That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:..
