ORDINANCE NO. 46-69 BY: Messrs. Huffman, Kelley, Usher. Ward, Wendling, Gaydos, Graber AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 149.15(a) and Section 149.15(c) of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood relating to payment by the City of Lakewood of certain sums toward employees' hospitalization coverage. WHEREAS, This Council deems it to be in the best'interest of the City to provide for this participation in the medical and hospital protection plans of the City employees, and, WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an. emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Section 149.15(a) of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now read- ing as follows: Section 149.15 City's Share of Hospitalization Insurance. "(a) For the purposes of this section a full-time City employee is defined as any employee of the Lakewood Municipal Court and any employee of the City, except an employee of Lakewood Hospital, part-time employees and seasonal employees." be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 149.15 City's Share of Hospitalization Insurance. (a) For the purposes o~ this section, a City employee shall be defined as any employee of Lakewood Municipal Court and any employee of the City of Lakewood, excep~t 'members of Council, employees of Lakewood Hospital, temporary employees, seasonal employees, school guards, and public works inspectors. Section 2o That Section 149..15(c) of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now read- ing as follows: Section 149.15 City's Share of Hospitalization Insurance. "(c) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay 'out of City funds up to twenty-two dollars ($22.00) per month toward hospital coverage of all other full-time City employees, co~nencing when such employees have completed ninety days of continuous service for the City, payable monthly or semi-annually, at the discretion of the Director of Finance." be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
