<br />adopted November 18, 1968, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances
<br />Inconsistent herewith.'

<br />Wi~P~AS, the Charter of the City of Lakewood provides that the Board of
<br />Trustees of Lakewood Hospital shall employ such employees as the Board
<br />deems necessary and fix their compensation, subject to the approval of
<br />Council, and,
<br />
<br />Wt~REAS, the Board of T~ustees of Lakewood Hospital has created certain
<br />positions and fixed salaries of employees of Lakewood Hospital, and,
<br />
<br />WI~REAS, an emergency exists for the immediate preservati6n of the public
<br />peace, property, health or safety and to provide for the usual daily
<br />operation of a municipal department; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY TKE COUNCIL OF Ttfl~ CITY OF LAKEWOOD. STATE OF OHIO:

<br />Section 1. 'That the compensation fixed for employees of the Lakewood
<br />Mospital, as recommended by the Board of Trustees of the Lakewood Hospital
<br />on September 29, 1969 be the same is hereby approved by this Council and
<br />shall be fixed by the Board of Trustees within the following schedule:
