OI{D[NANCE NO. <br /> <br />9-70 <br /> <br /> AN I':MI';RGI:;NCY ONI).rN.,ANCI.; to amend ,c;(,ction 149.15 Cb) <br />the Administrative Code ol! the Codi. fi.c~d Ord.in:~nccs of the Ci. ty <br />of Lak()woo(-t relat(ug to payment by the Ci. ty of Lakewooci of certain <br />sums toward en~ployec~s' hospitaliz,xtion coverage. <br /> <br /> WtIER~AS, This Council deems it to be in the best interest <br />of the City to provide for this participation in the medical and <br />hospital p~-otection plans of the City employees, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; <br />now, therefore: <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE]~OOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.. That Section 149.15 Cb) of the Administrative <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now <br />reading as follows: <br /> <br />Section 149.15 City's Share of Hospitalization Insurance. <br /> <br />Cb) <br /> <br />~e Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay <br />out of City funds .up to twenty-five ($25.00) per <br />month toward hospitalization coverage of each member <br />of the Division of Fire an~ thirty dollars ($30.00) <br />per month toward hospital%'zation coverage of each <br />member of the Division of-Police, payable monthly or <br />semi-annually, at the discretion of the Director of <br />Finance. <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 149.15.City's Share of Hospitalization Insurance. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay <br />out of City funds up to thirty dollars ($30.00) per <br />month toward hospitalization coverage of each me~ber <br />of the Divisions of Police and Fire, payable monthly <br />or semi-annually, at the discretion of the Director <br />of Finance. <br /> <br /> Section'3.
