Gaydos, Graber, <br />Huffman, Kelley, Usher, <br />Ward, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 351.].7 of the Traffic Code of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood relating to parking of co~nmercial <br />vehicles in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br />WItEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the <br />immediate preservation of the pub].ic health, safety and welfare and for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY TIlE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OlIIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That Section 351.17 of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances <br />of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: <br /> <br />Section 351...17 Parking corra~ercial vehicles <br /> <br />No person shall park a school bus, commercial tractor, agri- <br />cultural tractor, truck, bus, trailer, semitrailer, pole <br />trailer or moving van for a period i.n excess of two hours on <br />any street at any time within the City, except when loading <br />or unloading the cargo of such vehicles. <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 351.17 Parking commercial vehicles <br /> <br />No person shall park a school bus, commercial tractor, agri- <br />cultural tractor, truck, bus, a vehicle originally manufactured <br />and/or designed as a bus, trailer, semi trailer, pole trailer, <br />moving van, ambulance or hearse, or a vehicle originally <br />manufactured and/or designed as an ambulance or hearse, for <br />a period in excess of one hour on any street at any time within <br />the City, except when loading or unloading such vehicle. <br /> <br />Section 2. That th~ ordinance is hereby declardd to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor, and existing Section 351.17, adopted April 21~1952, <br />is hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Cleric <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
