ORDINANCE NO. 77-71 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. Graber, Huffman, Kelley, <br />Usher, Ward, Wendling, Gaydos <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY oRDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures of <br />.the City of Lakewoo~, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending December 31,1971. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, An emergency"exists to provide for the immediate preservation.of <br />the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily <br />operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I2%KEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section i. That there be appropriated from the General Fund: <br /> <br />0199000 Transfers <br /> <br />$ 735,800 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from the SeWage Disposal <br /> Operating Fund. <br /> <br />50,000 <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Tha~ there be appropriated from Street Construction <br />and Maintenance Fund <br /> <br />100,000 <br /> <br />Section 4. That the Director of Finance be and is h~reby authorized to <br />draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in <br />this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by the <br />head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing <br />the President of Council shall approve all. claims of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 5. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it'receives the affirma- <br />tive vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in 'force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Clerk ~/ " <br />H~yor <br /> <br /> <br />
