ORDINANCE NO. 83-72 BY: Messrs. Magnotto, McBride, Wermer, Brockman, Graber, Usher AN'EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1972. WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of th~ public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That there be appropriated from the General Fund: 0190500 Finance $ 91,500 0190600 General Administration 217,335 0195200 Street Lighting '- ~109~000 $ 417,835 Section 2. That there be appropriated from the Street Highway Fund 6,566. Section 3. That there be appropriated from the Water C.O.D. Fund 68,700 Section 4. That there be appropriated from the Sewage Disposal Fund 22,850 Section 5. That there be appropriated from the Winterhurst Fund (full resources) 18,800 Section 6. That there be appropriated from the Incinerator Maintenance Fund 1,400 Section 7. That there be appropriated from the Fire Pension Fund 1,500 Section 8. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by the head of the department for wh~h the indebtedness is incurred, providing the President of Council shall approved'all claims of the City Council. Section 9 . That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. /~ Cle~/ Mayor
