ORDINANCE NO. 54-73 BY: Messrs. Brockman, Graber, Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Usher, Werner AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to supplement Ordinance 27-69 establishing rates of admission to the Lakewood Municipal Swimming Pools at Lakewood Park and Madison Park. WHEREAS, there has been a substantial increase in the number of requests at the Lakewood Municipal Pools for instruction in scuba diving and skin diving, and WHEREAS, the present schedule of rates of admission to the Lakewood Municipal Swimming Pools, which schedule is contained in Ordinance 27-69 adopted April 7, 1969,does not contain a schedule of rates to be charged for instruction in scuba diving and skin diving, and WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public health and safety and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Ordinance 27-69 establishing rates of admission to the Lakewood Municipal Swimming Pools at Lakewood Park and Madison Park be and the same is hereby supplemented by adding a new rate to be charged for scuba diving and skin diving instructions, as follows: 6. "SCUBA DIVING AND SKIN DIVING INSTRUCTION" $20.00 for a series of ten lessons with all necessary equipment furnished by the student $30.00 for a series of ten lessons with all necessary equipment furnished by the Board of Education Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adopt~'~and approval by the Adopted: ~,/4 ~.~ Mayor
