ORDINANCE NO. 12-75 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Brockman, Graber, Chinnock, <br /> Magnotto, McBride, Sinagra, Usher. <br /> <br /> ~ EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Paragraph (c) of Section 149.07 of <br />the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood <br />relating to longevity compensation for members of the Division of Police of the <br />City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THF. CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That paragraph (c) of Section 149.07 of the Administrative <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: <br /> <br />Section 149.07 LONGEVITY COMPENSATION <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1.49.07 LONGEVITY COMI?I<NSA'I'ION <br /> <br />(.c) <br /> <br />i)ivision of l)ol. icc~. Full-time permanent mcmbc:rs of tll~, D/vision <br />of ?olice shall be paid semi-annually, in thc months of June and <br />December, in addition to such salary or compensation that may be <br />provided by any other ordinance, additional compensation based on <br />the number of continuous full years of service, including interim <br />military service, as determined on the dates of June 15 and December <br />15 of each year, computed in accordance with the following semi- <br />annual rate schedule: <br /> <br /> (1) For five years through nine years of service .......... $t00.00 <br /> (2) For ten years through fourteen years of service ....... S125.00 <br /> (3) For fifteen years througt~ nineteen years of service... $150.00 <br /> (4) For twenty years or more .............................. $175.00 <br /> <br /> Section 2.
