ORDINANCE NO. 35-75 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Chinnock, Graber, Magnotto, <br /> McBride, Sinagra, Usher <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 1305.44 of the Housing Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood relating to the fees for <br />housing licenses for condominium property. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has heretofore adjusted the fees for housing <br />licenses for condominium property, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the time said fees were adjusted it was the intent of this <br />Council that all condominium units other than those which are owner-occupied <br />should be charged a license fee of Five Dollars ($5.00), and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for <br />the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 1305.44 of the Housing Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now reading as follows: <br /> <br /> 1305.44 LICENSE APPLICATION FORM AND FEE <br /> <br />Every application for a housing license shall be on a form approved <br />by the official charged with the enforcement of this Code. It shall <br />state the name and address of the applicant, the nature and extent of <br />his interest in the building for which the license is required, the <br />name and address of the owner of the building, the location of the <br />building, the number of rooms therein, the number of dwelling units <br />therein, the number of rooming units therei~ and such other informa- <br />tion as may be required by the official charged with the enforcement <br />of this Code. <br /> <br />Except for condominium property, the fee for such license shall be <br />five dollars ($5.00) for each dwelling unit and five dollars ($5.00) <br />for each rooming unit in each building for which a license is required. <br />For condominium property the fee for such license shall be five dollars <br />($5.00) for each rented condominium unit and one dollar ($1.00) for <br />each owner-occupied condominium unit. <br /> <br />In no case shall the fee provided for herein be less than twenty-five <br />dollars ($25.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). Such <br />fees shall be paid to the City when the application for the license is <br />made. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />1305.44 LICENSE APPLICATION FORM AND FEE <br /> <br />Every application for a housing license shall be on a form approved <br />by the official charged with the enforcement of this Code.
