ORDINANCE NO. 20-76 BY: Messrs. Brockman, Chinnock, Magnotto, Salmon, Usher AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing and directing t[~e Mayor, on behalf of the City of Lakewood, to enter into an Ag~:cement with Lakcwood Center Nortti Building Associates, an Ohio limited partnership, to provide for the control, maintenance and monitoring of a t¢'levision camera security system to be installed in the Belle Avenue North Parking Garage. WIIEREAS, the City is the owner and operator of a parking garage known as the Belle Ave{~ue North Parking Garage which provides the parking space for the general public, including tenants of a building owned by Lakewood Center North Building Associates, an Ohio limited partnership, and WIIERF21S, Lakewood Center North Building Associg~tes i.s tile owner of a certain office building adjacent to the south of said parking garage, tenants of which are tile principa.1 lesscss of available parking space in said garage, and WI.IEREAS, it is for the best interests of the general public, tile City and the Lakewood Center North Building Associates that a television camera security system be installed in said garage, and WIfl~REAS, this ~rdinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate prese~rvation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, and for tile further reason that provisions for control, maintenance and monitoring should be made for such secm:ity system so tin'at bids may be advertised at the earliest possible time; now, therefore, BE IT OR1)AINED BY TIlE COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF O[Ii_O: SectI. on 1.
