ORDINANCE NO. 41-76 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Brockman, Chinnock, Msgnotto, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Sinagra, Usher. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Paragraph (c) of Section 149.07 of the <br />Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood relating to <br />longevity compensation for members of the Division of Police of the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergenc% measure providing for the <br />usual daily operation of municipal departments, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That paragrapb (c) of Section 149.07 of the Administrative Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: <br /> <br />Section 149.07 LONGEVITY COMPENSATION <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Division of Police. Full-time permanent members of the Division of <br />Police shall be paid semi-annually, in the months of June and December, <br />in addition to such salary or compensation that may be provided by any <br />other ordinance, additional compensation based on the number of con- <br />tinuous full years of service, including interim military service, <br />as determined on the dates of June 15 and December 15 of each yea~, <br />computed in accordance with the following semi-annual rate schedule: <br /> <br />(1) For five years through nine years of service ........... $100.00 <br />(2) For ten years through fourteen years of service ........ $125.00 <br />(3) For fifteen years through nineteen years of service .... S225000 <br />(4) For twenty years or more ............................... $275.00 <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 149.07 LONGEVITY COMPENSATION <br /> <br />(c) Division of Police.
