Sinagra, Usher, Brockman~ <br />Chinnock, Magnotto, McBride, Salmon <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and .fixing the compensation of <br />~ hourly employees in the several departments and divisions of the City of <br /> Lakewood effective July 1, 1977. ?~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing~or the <br /> usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the ~interest of <br /> public service, welfare and safety., it is necessary to fix the compensation <br /> of employees; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. POsitions are hereby created and the compensation of hourly <br /> employees in the several departments and divisions of the City of Lakewood <br /> is here'~y fixed as follows effective July 1, 1977. <br /> <br /> C.E.T.A. Special Projects Laborer $4.80 per hour. <br /> <br /> Section 2. All compensation provided for herein~ shall be paid in equal <br /> installments every two weeks. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure. <br /> for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and provided it receives the <br /> affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br /> take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by <br /> the Mayor; otherwise, at the earliest period provided by law. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
