NO. 30-79 BY: Salmon, Wendling, Brown, Chinnock, Magnotto, McBride AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE Fixing the compensati'or~ of the Clerk of the L~*~ewood Municipal Court, the time and method of payment thereof and repeal in9 ~:'"tion 1 of Ordinance No. 24-78 adopted March 6, 1978. WItEREAS, the Hunicipal Court Act, Revised Code Section 1901.31 provides the legislative authority of this municipality .shall fix the annual ~"~ary of the Clerk of Courts, and WIIEREAS, said Ac~ further provides that the compensation of the Clerk ~!,all be paid three-fifths from the City Treasury and two-fifths from the ~"easury of the County in which the city is located, and, WltEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the interest ~ublic serv'ce, welfare and safety, it is necessary to fix the compensation ,'he Clerk and direct the time and method of payment thereof; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the compensation of the Clerk of. the Lakewood Municipal is hereby fixed at $25,680.00 per annum effective March 1, 1979. Section 2. That the Director of Finance of the City of Lakewood is "..,.'by authorized and directed to pay three-fifths of the compensation of the C:~',-k as herein fixed, from the City Treasur'y in semi'-monthly installments or "-' ::,"~ insl ~ ~, ..... ,~:r; every two weeks. Section 3.
