SR-237 & US-20 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 48-79 <br /> <br />DATEOF ENACTMENT May 7, 1979 <br /> <br /> City <br /> An emergency ordinance enacted by the ~'[~gg~ of L~kewood , <br /> Cuyaho~a County, Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement, <br />under the supervision of the Director of Transportation. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Transpor~tion is considering improving a portion of the public highway which if <br />~scdbedasfollows: by performing wearing course removal and by applying <br />an asphalt concrete intermediate course (403) and an asphalt con- <br />crete surface course (~0~) on SR-237 (Riverside Dr. & W. Clifton <br />Blvd.) between the Lakewood South Corporation limit and US-20 and <br />on US-20 (W. Clifton Blvd.) between Sloane Ave and Clifton Blvd., <br />SR-237. Length: 8818 ft.; Approximate thickness: 1½ inches; <br />Total length: 1.67 miles. US-20 Length: 1795 ft.; Approximate <br />thickness: 1½ inches; Total Length: 0.34 miles. <br /> <br />Pavement markings after completion of the work are the responsibility <br />of the city. <br /> <br />Ohio: <br /> <br /> City <br />NOW THEREFORE, Be it ordained by the Council of th~ <br /> <br />Lakewood <br /> <br /> SECTION I (Consent) <br /> City <br /> That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of saic[~J~je~be and such consent is hereby <br />given to the Director of Transportation to construct the above described improvement, in accordance with plans, <br />specifications and estimates as approved by the Director. <br /> <br /> SECTION II (Cooperation) <br /> City <br /> That said ~]~j-j-j~ hereby proposes to cooperate with the State of Ohio, in the cost of the above described <br />improvement as follows: a lump sum of $26,~00.00 which includes the cost <br />of resurfacing, engineering, contingencies and adjusting castings <br />to grade. <br /> <br /> SECTION I I-A <br /> <br /> Thatthe lump sum of' $26~.~00.00 <br />is hereby.appropriated for the improvement of the highway as described hereinabove. <br /> <br /> SECTION III (Authority to Sign) <br /> City <br /> <br /> That the Mayor of said ~f/J~, is hereby authorized to enter <br /> {Contractual Officer's Title) <br />into maintenance and parking agreements and special contractual obligations. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
