ORDINANCE NO. 68-79 <br /> <br />BY: Salmon, Wendling, Brockman, <br /> Brown, Chinnock, McNally <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating the position and fixing ihe <br />salary of matrons in the Division. of Police of the Department of Public <br />Safety effective September 1, 1979 ..... <br /> <br /> WHERE~S, this ordinance oanstitu~es an ~nergency measure . <br />providing for the usual dail~ operation of a municipal department in <br />that in the interest of public service, welfare and safety, it is necessary <br />to fix the compensation of employees; now, therefore, <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWCOD, STATE OF <br /> <br /> Section 1. Positions are hereby created and the ccmpensation <br />hereby established of full and part-time jail matrons in the Division of <br />Police of the Department of Public Safety effective September 1, 1979. <br /> <br />1. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY <br /> <br />B. DIVISION OF POLICE <br /> <br />Not to <br />Exceed Rank <br /> <br />3 Matrons (Full-Time) $7,300-10,500 <br />3 Matrons (Part-Time) 3.95-4.25 <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the rea~sons stated in the preamble hereof and provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force in~nediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor, otherwise it shall take effect and be in force <br />from and after the earliest period allowed by ~7 . <br /> <br /> /", ~ ' ~resident <br /> <br /> / /f- ~ ~'~Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
