ORDINANCE NO. 20-80 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and fixing salaries <br />of the annual, salaried employees in the several departments and divisions <br />of the City of Lakewood effective March 9, 1980, with the exception of <br />sworn personnel in the Division of Police and in the Division of Fire <br />which shall be effective January 1, 1980. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure provid- <br />ing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department ]n that in the <br />interest of public service, welfare and safety, it is necessary to fix the <br />compensation of employees; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section I. Positions are hereby created and the compensation of <br />annual, salaried employees in the several departments and divisions of the <br />City of Lakewood as flxed by the director of sa~d department, with the <br />approval of the Mayor, within the following schedule of compensation, shall <br />be as follows effective March 9, 1980, with the exception of sworn personnel <br />in the Division of Police and in the Division of Fire which shall be effec- <br />tive January 1,.]980. <br /> <br />1.
