ORDINANCE HO. 22-81 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chlnnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and fixing salaries of the <br />annual, salaried employees in the several departments and divisions of the <br />City of Lakewood effective March 8, 1981, with the exception of sworn personnel <br />in the Division of Police and in the Division of Fire which shall be effective <br />January 1, 198!. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the interest <br />of public service, welfare and safety, it is necessary to fix the compensation <br />of employees; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Positions are hereby created and the compensation of <br />annual, salaried employees in the several departments and divisions of the City <br />of Lakewood as fixed by the director of said department, with the approval of <br />the Mayor, within the following schedule of compensation, shall be as follows, <br />effective March 8, 1981, with the exception of the positions of the Chief of <br />Police and the Chief of Fire, which shall be effective January 1, 1981. <br /> <br />1.
