ORDINANCE NO. 44-81 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creati~ the.position and fixing the annual <br />salary for the Position of Traffic Signal Co~'trol Technician in the Division <br />of Streets, Sewers, and Sidewalks of the Department of Public Works, and <br />fixing 'the annual salary for the Fire Chief in the Division of Fire of the <br />Department of Public Safety effective January 1, 1981 and repealing all other <br />Ordinances or parts of Ordinances inconsistent herewith. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinanc. 6 constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the interest <br />of public service, welfare, and safety, it is necessary to create positions <br />and fix the compensation of employees; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section l. That subsection "C" of paragraph I, of Section 1 of <br />Ordinance 22-81 relating to the annual salary of the position of Fire Chief <br />now reading as follows: <br /> <br />C. DIVISION OF FIRE <br /> <br />Not to <br />Exceed Rank <br />1 Fire Chief <br /> <br />$28,000 - 34,260 <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />C. DIVISION OF FIRE <br /> <br />Not to <br />Exceed Rank <br />I Fire Chief <br /> <br />$28,000 -.34,570 <br /> <br /> Section 2. That subsection "C" of paragraph II of Section 1 or <br />Ordinance 22-81, now reading as follows: <br /> <br />C. DIVISION OF STREETS,~SEWERS & SIDEWALKS <br /> <br />Superintendent of Streets <br />Assistant Superintendent of Streets <br /> <br />20,000 - 29,000 <br />18,000 - 25,550 <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />C. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the adoption of this Resolution were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations <br />of this Council and of any of its committees'that resulted in such formal <br />action were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal re- <br />quirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
