ORDINANCE NO. 50-81 <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY/VILLAGE of Lakewood ,Cuyahoc~a COUNTy, <br />OHIO, IN THE MATTER OF THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED IMPROVEMENT <br />UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION <br />OF THE STATE OF OHIO. ~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Transportation of the State of Ohio proposes <br />the improvement of the railroad paYement markings, in conformance with the <br />Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices, at certain railroad- <br />highway grade crossings under the jurisdiction of Lakewood , <br />Cuvaho~a County in accordance with the plans approved by the <br />Difecto~ of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as the improvement, <br />and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 1978 Federal Highway Safety Act and Amended House Bill <br />No. lll provide funds for the construc%ion as contemplated herein, now <br />therefore <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY/VILLAGE OF <br />Lakewood , OHIO: <br /> <br />SECTION 1 <br /> <br /> It is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of the <br />Council be and such consent is hereby given to the Director of <br />Transportation to proceed with the above improvement tn accordance wich <br />plans, specifications and estimates as approved by the Di~,ector, at no <br />cost to the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 <br /> <br /> Thecity of LakeNoc>llgrees to perpetuate and maintain all pavement <br /> markings on the approaches to the at-grade crossing(s) inside the <br />City of Lakewoodinstalled and placed herein conforming to the Ohio Manual <br /> of Uniform Traffic Control Devices in compliance with the provisions of <br /> Section 4511.11 and related sections of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br />SECIION 3 <br /> <br /> The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and ordered to furnish the <br />said Director w]ti~ a certified copy of this ordinance immediately upon its <br />passage. <br /> <br /> <br />
