ORDINANCE NO. 61-81 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham <br /> McBride, Wendling, Salmon <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE exempting the Regional Transit Authority <br />from the prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the Streets and Public Service Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to permit the <br />placement and/or construction of one additional bus shelter at the designated <br />location. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby exempts <br />the Regional Transit Authority from the prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the <br />Streets and Public Service Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />Lakewood in order to allow for the construction and/or placement of one additional <br />bus shelter at the following location provided that the conditions and <br />the permit procedure requirements, as specified in Section 2 of Ordinance No. <br />83-78, adopted Oct.ober 5, 1978, are met: <br /> <br />TYPE M - NEW - WARREN/DETROIT - SOUTHBOUND <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor; otherwise it shall take effect at the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />ADOPTED: <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> <br />
