ORDINANCE NO.: 63-82 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE exempting the Regional Transit Authority <br />from the prohibztions of Section 901.18 of the Streets and Public <br />Service Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in <br />order to permzt the placement and/or construction of an additional <br />bus shelter at the designated location. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thzs ordinance constitutes an emergency measure provid- <br />ing for the usual daily operatzon of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby <br />exempts the Regional Transit Authority from the prohzbitions of <br />Sectzon 901.18 of the Streets and Public Servzoe Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to allow for the construc- <br />tion and/or placement ef an additional bus shelter at the following <br />location provided that the conditzons and the permit procedure require- <br />ments, as specified in Sectzon 2 of the Ordinance No. 83-78, adopted <br />October 5, 1978, are met: <br /> <br />TYPE M NEW - LAKE/GOLD COAST LANE <br /> <br />NORTHEAST CORNER <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwzse it <br />shall take effect at the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />ADOPTED:~I~ /~. /~-- ~~ ~7~~ <br /> <br /> <br />
