ORDINANCE N0o77-83 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, McBride, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE providing for the appropriation of funds from <br />the City of Lakewood's Capital Improvement Fund for a purchase in the <br />amount of $45,121.80 for the purchase of Electronic Telephone Equipment <br />and Office Furnishings and Equipment. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Lakewood has determined that the <br />Office on Aging should move forward with the purchase of an Electronic <br />Telephone System and Office Furnishings and Equipment to furnish the <br />new Satellite Office of the Office on Aging located at Fedor Manor; now, <br />therefore <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the sum of $45,121.80 now and is hereby appropriated <br />from the unappropriated balance of the Capital Improvements Fund for <br />the purpose of purchasing Office Furnishings and Equipment and Electronic <br />Telephone System. <br /> <br />Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council ?ncerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such delibera- <br />tions of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such <br />formal action were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with <br />all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor; otherwise it shall take effect and be in force <br />after the eariest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved:~ <br /> <br /> <br />
