,é"-', OROINANCE NO: 92-84 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Ga 11 agher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE additionally appropriating the proceeds of the additional grant amendment for the Lakewood Park Breakwa11 Fund. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has accepted an additional grant amount from the State of Ohio, Department of Natural Resources, for the construction and design of the Lakewood Park Breakwall, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to additionally appropriate the funds received under the City1s Special Revenue Funds, and WHEREAS~ this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure in that it provides for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare; now~ therefore, BE IT ORDA1NED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, STATE OF OHIO, that: Section 1. The amount of $175,000.00 shall be and the same is hereby additibna1ly appropriated under the Special Revenue Funds of the City of Lakewood to the LakewoOd Park Breakwa11 Fund. Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council~ and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allow~ able by 1 aw.
