ORDINANCE NO. 15-85 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor (Director of Public <br />Safety), the Director of Public Works, the Director of Law and/or <br />Director of Finance to advertise for bids and to enter into a <br />contract or contracts for the purchase of certain operating supplies <br />or services, professional services, capital improvements and replace- <br />ment of equipment for the City of Lakewood as authorized by the 1985 <br />Appropriation Ordinance with the lowest and best bidder or bidders as <br />provided by law. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure in that it <br />provides for the immediate preservation of t~e public health, safety <br />and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- <br />ment; now, therefore; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Mayor (Director of pUblic Safety), the Director <br />of Public Works, the Director of Law and/or the Director of Finance <br />be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or <br />contracts for the following operating supplies or services, profession- <br />al services, capital improvements and replacement of equipment as <br />authorized by the 1985 Appropriation Ordinance with the lowest and <br />best bidder or bidders after advertisement as provided by law: <br /> <br />I. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />A. DIVISION OF STREETS <br /> <br /> 1. Curb Replacement Labor and Materials <br /> 2. Contractor Services for Concrete Work <br /> 3. One (1) medium duty dump truck <br /> 4. One (1) 3/4 ton truck <br /> 5. Materials for Street Repair <br /> 6. Road Surface Treatments <br /> 7. Asphalt and/or Services for Street Resurfacing <br /> 8. Pavement Planing <br /> 9. Tires <br />10. Fuel Management System <br /> <br />B. DIVISION OF WASTEWATER <br /> <br /> 1. One (1) Back-hoe Loader <br /> 2. One (1) ½ ton truck <br /> 3. Ferric Chloride <br /> 4. Ferrous Chloride <br /> 5. Liquid Chlorine <br /> 6. Aluminum Sulphate <br /> 7. Sludge Disposal <br /> 8.
