ORDINANCE NO. 18-85 BY: Brown, CHinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendl AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and fixing salaries of the annual salaried employees in the several de- partments and divisions o£ the City of Lakewood, excluding the Divisions of Police and' Fire, effective April 1, 1985, and creating the positions and fixing the annual salary of the Chief of Police, tne Chief of Fire and Civil Service Commissioners, effective January 1, 1985, WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department in that in the interest of public service, welfare and safety, it is necessary to fix the compensation of employees; now, there- fore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1 . Positions are hereby created and the compensation of annual salaried employees in the several de- partments and divisions of the City of Lakewood, excluding the Divisions of Police and Fire, as fixed by the director of said department with the approval of the Mayor, within the following schedule of compensation, shall be as follows, effective April 1, 1985, with the exception of the positions of Chief of Police, Chief of Fire and Civil Service Commissioners, which shall be effective January 1, 1985. BAND A - $31,000 - $45,250 Director of Law Director of Finance Director of Public Works Chief of Police Chief of Fire City Engineer BAND B - $26,200 - $39,425 Director of Community Development Director of Office on Aging Director of Planning Personnel Administrator Superintendent Commissioner Executive Assistant to the Mayor Youth Coordinator BAND C - $21,000 - $32,240 Assistant Director Assistant Engineer Assistant Superintendent Assistant Commissioner Foreman A Chief Surveyor
