PLACED ON FIRST READ~N.G APRIL 1, 1985 PLACED ON SECOND READING APRIL 15, 1985 ORDINANCE NO. 20-85 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendlinc~ AN ORDINANCE to supplement the Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood by enacting new subparagraph (o) to Section 1121.02 to require one additional parking space for each two bedrooms or fraction thereof, added to existing multi family dwellings. WHEREAS, this Council determines that in order to control the increasing parking problems within the City, it is necessary to require additional parking space for bedrooms added to existing multi family dwellings; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEW00D, STATE OF 0HI0: Section 1. That Chapter ll21 of the Zoning Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood shall be and the same is hereby supplemented by enacting new subparagraph (o) to Section 1121.02 to read as follows: 1121.02 REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES. (o) Bedrooms added to existing multi family dwellings con- sisting of four (4) or mor~ dwelling units. ~ (p) Bedroom alterations to increase occupancy in existing multi family dwellings consisting of four (4) or more dwelling units REQUIRED SPACES 1 space fOr each two bed- rooms, or fraction thereof 1 space for each two occu- pancy increases, or fraction thereof Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
