ORDINANCE NO. 48-85 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br />McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expendi- <br />tures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year <br />ending December 31, 1985. <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the <br />usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That there be appropriated from the <br /> Special Revenue Fund <br /> Job Training Grant Fund $ 57,052. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized <br /> to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated <br /> in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved <br /> by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred. <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br /> this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance <br /> were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br /> deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that <br /> resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, <br /> in compliance with all legal requirements including Sectipn 121.22 <br /> of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br /> measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br /> to the City Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br /> upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. ~ent~.~ <br /> l~fesi <br /> <br /> <br />
