That this Council hereby authorizes and <br />directs the submission to the electors of the City of Lekewood at <br />the general election to be held at the usual places of voting in <br />the City on Tuesday, November 5, 1985, of the following proposal <br />to amend the Amended Chatter of the City. <br /> <br /> That ~ XX of the Amended Charter of the City of <br />Lakewood be amended by the addition thereto of Section 4 thereof <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 4. LEASE ALTERNATIVe, BJotwithstonding <br />any other provision of thio Charter, including <br />without limitation thooe of this Article IX, the <br />Council of the City by ordinance duly passed by the <br />affirmative vote of ·t least twoothirda of <br />members elected to Council, may lease pursuant to · <br />lease approved by the Board of Trustees, real and <br />personal property and transfer the non-capital <br />assets o[ the municipal hospital established <br />pursuant to ~ection 1 of tbtm Article <br />identified In ouch ozdlnnnee, to n non-sectatinn <br />Ohio non-profit corporation organised fat <br />charitable purposes.
