ORDINANCE NO. 85-85 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gailagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Paragraph (a), Section 353.06 of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, Ohio to delete the leased municipal parking lot located at the Southeast corner of Detroit Avenue and St. Charles Avenue (lot)to. 10) from the Off-Street Parking Permit Plan for the City of Lakewood, Ohio. ,. WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of municipal departments, and for the immediate preservation of the public safety and welfare, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Paragraph (a) of Section 353.106 of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as fol lows: Section 353.06 Establishment of Off-Street Parking Permit Plan {a) Any person may make application to the Permit Clerk on forms prescribed by the Director of Public Safety for an off-street parking permit which shall entitle 'such applicant to park at any time, the automobile described in said application, in any metered off-street parking faci 1 i ty owned and/or operated by the City of Lakewood during the permit period covered by the permit. Permits may be renewed for additional peri ods upon payment of the prescribed fee. shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 353.06 Establishment of Off-Street Parking Permit Plan (a) Any person may make application to the Permit Clerk on forms prescribed by the Director of Public Safety for an off- street parking permit which shall entitle such applicant ' to park at any time, the automobile described in said application in any metered off-street parking faci 1 i ty owned and/or operated by the City of Lakewood during the permit period covered by the permit except the parking lot located at the Southeast Corner of Detroit Avenue and St. Charles Avenue (Lot No. lO). Permits. may be renewed for additional periods upon payment of the prescribed fee. Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
