ORDINANCE NO. 12-86 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, <br /> Graham, McBride, Salmon, <br /> Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Economic <br />and Community Development of the City of Lakewood to purchase certain <br />real property known as a park of PP#312-29-031, located at 12015 <br />Clifton Blvd., in Lakewood, Ohio, hereinafter more particularly <br />described and subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter set <br />forth. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the' public health and <br />welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department <br />and for the further reason that the owner has agreed to sell said <br />property for the consideration herein stipulated and this Council <br />determines it to be in the best interest of the City that the property <br />be purchased immediately so that the Clifton Prado Improvement <br />Project can be commenced without delay; now, therefore, <br /> <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL 0P THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Economic and Community <br />Development of the City of Lakewood be and he is hereby authorized and <br />directed to purchase from 12015 Clifton Co., the following described <br />property: <br /> <br /> Parcel 1: Beginning on the easterly line of Beach Avenue at <br />the southwesterly corner of Sublot No. 57 in said subdivision; thence <br />East, 167.57 feet along the southerly line of Sublots No. 57, 56, and <br />55 in said subdivision and the easterly prolongation; thence South, <br />10.O0 feet; thence West, 167.57 feet to the easterly line of Beach <br />Avenue; thence North, 10.OO feet along said easterly line to the place <br />of beginning and containing 0.0385 of an acre of land as calculated <br />and described by William J. Haas, P.S. #4793 for the City of Lakewood <br />from a survey made in July, 1984 by James B. Root and Associates. <br /> <br />and to pay therefore the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Thirteen <br />dollars and fifty-five cents (purchase price), ($)2,513.55. <br /> <br /> <br />
