ORDINANCE NO. 16-B6 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham,.. <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the transfer of certain appropriations <br />as appropriated by Ordinance No. 14-85 adopted March 18, 1985. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of <br />the public property, health, and safety and the usual daily operation of <br />municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to <br />make the following transfers of appropriatiqns as appropriated by Ordin- <br />ance No. 14-85 adopted March 18, 1985. <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be transferred from the General Fund. <br /> <br />General Fund <br /> <br />$ 1,742,200 <br /> <br />Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations <br />of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal <br />action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal <br />requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br />Section 8. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives <br />the affirmate vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members electe~-~-.C~uncil, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately uDon~.~, adoDtio~h and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Approved~~ <br /> <br /> <br />
