Please substitute for Ordinanc( <br />No. 26-86 placed on first <br />reading 3-3-86 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 26-86 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), <br />the Director of Public Works, the Director of Law and/or Director of <br />Finance to ~dvertise for bids and to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the purchase of certain operating supplies or services, professional <br />services, capital improvements and replacement of equipment for the City <br />of Lakewood as authorized by the 1986 Appropriation Ordinance with the <br />lowest and best bidder or bidders as provided by law. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure in that it <br />provides for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of <br />Public Works, the Director of Law and/or the Director of Finance be and <br />are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts <br />for the following operating supplies or services, professional services, <br />capital improvements and replacement of equipment as authorized by the <br />1986 Appropriation Ordinance with the lowest and best bidder or bidders <br />after advertisement as provided by law: <br /> <br /> I.
