ORDINANCE NO. 54-86 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures <br />of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31, 1986. <br />WHEREAS, aD emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of municipal department~; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: <br /> Office-on-Aging- IIIB $ 900 <br /> Criminal Justice Services Children's Trust Fund $ 14,156 <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Financebe and he is hereby authorized <br /> to draw checks up, on the City depositories for the amounts appropriated <br /> in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved <br /> by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, <br /> providing the President of Counci~ shall approve all claims of the <br /> City Council. <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br /> this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance <br /> were adopted in an open meeting of th~Ls Council, and that all such <br /> deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted <br /> in such formal actions, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance <br /> with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br /> Code. <br /> Section 4. That this ordinance ~s hereby declared to be an emergency <br /> measure for the reasons stated in the premable, and provided it receives <br /> the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to <br /> Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br /> adoption and approval by the Mayor. pr t ~.~~~ <br /> Adopted: <br /> <br /> Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
