ORDINANCE NO. 54-86 BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, Salmon, Wendling AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1986. WHEREAS, aD emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal department~; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: Office-on-Aging- IIIB $ 900 Criminal Justice Services Children's Trust Fund $ 14,156 Section 2. That the Director of Financebe and he is hereby authorized to draw checks up, on the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing the President of Counci~ shall approve all claims of the City Council. Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of th~Ls Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal actions, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 4. That this ordinance ~s hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the premable, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. pr t ~.~~~ Adopted: Clerk
