Placed on First Reading: 5-5-86 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 55-86 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, <br /> McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE establishing rate charges for the <br />Municipal Parki~§ Garage located tn the City of Lakewood, revising <br />and amem~i~g ¢~arges previously established and repealing Ordinance <br />62-81 aQo~ted Ju~y 20, 1981. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of [akewoo~ owns and operates a Municipal <br />Parking Gar'a§e which is open to the public and is managed and controlled <br />as a function of~the Division of Streets, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a study by the Finance Department and the Department <br />of Public Works discloses a need to revise the rate structure for <br />the garage due to increased costs of operation, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITYOF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the rates fgr parking vehicles in the Lakewood <br />Municipal Parking Garage be and the same are hereby established as <br />follows: <br /> <br />North Parking Garage <br /> <br />First half hour or fraction thereof <br />Second half hour or fraction thereof <br />Each additional hour or fraction thereof. <br />Maximum (not to exceed 24 hours) <br />Monthly pass <br />Reserved Section <br /> <br />.45 <br />.45 <br />.45 <br />3.75 <br />35.00 <br />45.00 <br /> <br /> Secti'on 2. It is found and determined that all formal' actions <br />of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance <br />were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted <br />in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance <br />with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
