ORDINANCE NO. 72-86 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Brown, Gallagher, Graham, McBride, <br />Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to repeal Ordinance #20-86 relating <br />to the purchase by the City of a part of the real property located at <br />12009 Clifton Boulevard. <br /> WHEREAS, on January 20, 1986 Lakewood City Council adopted <br />Ordinance #20-86 authorizing the Director of Economic and Community <br />Development of the City o£ Lakewood to purchase certain real property <br />known as part of PP#312-29-032, located at 12009 Clifton Boulevard, in <br />Lakewood, Ohio and <br /> WHEREAS, it is now determined that said property is not <br />needed for the Lakewood Clifton Prado Project and is not necessary to <br />purchase said property and therefore, Ordinance #20-86 should be <br />repealed, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br /> providing for the immediate preservation of the Public health, safety <br /> and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br /> department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEW00D, STATE <br /> OF 0HI0: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Ordinance #20-86, adopted January 30, 1986 <br /> shall be and the same is hereby repealed, <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal <br /> actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this <br /> ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that <br /> all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees <br /> that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the <br /> public, in compliance with all legal :requirements including Section <br /> 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> Section 3- That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br /> emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br /> provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br /> elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br /> upon its adoption and approval bya the Mayor; otherwise~ i~t ~ take <br /> effect and be in force after the earliest ~llow~o~aw? <br /> Adopted: g0~.. /~ /~ <br /> ~ '' / Pre~~' ~ <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
