ORDINANCE NO. 85~86 <br /> <br />BY: Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride <br /> Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures <br />of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fisc~) year ending <br />December 31, 1986. <br />WHEREAS, an emergen~ exists to provide for the ~mme,~i~a%e prese~ation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of muni. cipa) d~partments; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CDU~CIL OF THE C1TY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That there be appropriated from the <br /> General Fund $ B,500 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from <br /> Special Revenue Funds: <br /> Office on Aging Title III-B $ ll,150 <br /> <br />Section 3. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized <br />to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated <br />in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved <br />by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, <br />providing the President of Council shall approve allclaims of the <br />City Council. <br />Section 4. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning ~nd relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such delibera- <br />tions of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in <br />such formal actions, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance <br />with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br /> Section 5. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br /> measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives <br /> the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to <br /> Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon i <br /> adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> Adopted: ?~'~//f~J~'~.
