ORDINANCE NO. 85~86 BY: Chinnock, Gallagher, Graham, McBride Salmon, Wendling AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fisc~) year ending December 31, 1986. WHEREAS, an emergen~ exists to provide for the ~mme,~i~a%e prese~ation of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of muni. cipa) d~partments; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CDU~CIL OF THE C1TY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That there be appropriated from the General Fund $ B,500 Section 2. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: Office on Aging Title III-B $ ll,150 Section 3. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve allclaims of the City Council. Section 4. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning ~nd relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such delibera- tions of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal actions, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements including Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 5. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon i adoption and approval by the Mayor.
