ORDINANCE NO. 90-87 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Brown, Gallagher, Graham, <br />McBride, Salmon, Wendling <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expendi- <br />tures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year <br />ending December 31, 1987. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preserva- <br />tion of the public property, health and safety and to provide for <br />the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: <br /> <br /> Street Constr. Maint. & Repair Fund <br /> Children's Trust Fund <br /> Office on Aging - Title IIIB Fund <br /> Office on Aging - Title IIIC Fund <br /> Self-Insurance General Liability Fund <br /> Self-Insurance Recreation Fund <br /> Drug Enforcement Fund <br /> Law Enforcement Fund <br /> Emergency Shelter Program Grant Fund <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from <br /> <br />$ 145,000 <br />20,000 <br />10,000 <br />16,000 <br />150,000 <br />50,000 <br />20,000 <br />30,000 <br />39,200 <br /> <br />the Enterprise Funds: <br /> <br />Water Fund <br /> <br />$ 1,250,000 <br /> <br />Section 3. That t~ere <br />Projects Funds: <br /> <br />be appropriated from the <br /> <br />Capital <br /> <br />Recreation Improvement Fund <br />Capital Improvement Fund <br /> <br />$ 15,000 <br /> 700,000 <br /> <br />Section 4. <br />Funds: <br /> <br />That there be appropriated from the Special Assessment <br /> <br />Street Improvement Fund <br />Sidewalk Impr. Fund <br /> <br />$ 200,000 <br /> 50,000 <br /> <br />Section 5. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts <br />appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly <br />approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is <br />incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all <br />claims of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 6. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance <br />were adopted in an open meeting of ~his Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal actions, were in meetings open to the public. <br /> <br />Section 7. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take eff~ and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br /> 'Tect ( <br /> <br />Clerk ~ ' <br /> <br />Approved:/~~ ~2~2/! <br /> <br /> <br />
