Placed on First Reading on EebEu~ry !,6~, 1988 <br />Placed on Second Reading on March 7, 1988 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 11-88 <br /> <br />BY: Brown, Gall~ghqr, Gazzana, George, <br /> Graham, wena~ trig <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), <br />the Director of Public Works, the Director of Law and/or Director of Finance <br />to advertise for bids and to enter into a contract or contracts for the <br />purchase of certain operating supplies or services, professional services, <br />capital improvements and replacement of equipment for the City of Lakewood <br />as authorized by the 1988 Appropriation Ordinance with the lowest and best <br />bidder or bidders as provided by law. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure in that it provides <br />for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Mayor, (Director of Public Safety), the Director of <br />Public Works, the Director of Law and/or the Director of Finance be and are <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for the <br />following operating supplies or services, professional services, capital <br />improvements and replacement of equipment as authorized by the 1988 <br />Appropriation Ordinance with the lowest and best bidder or bidders after <br />advertisement, whenever such advertisement and bidding is required by law: <br /> <br /> I.
