ORDINANCE NO. 58-88 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Brown, Chinnock, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br />George, Graham, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating the position of Assistant.Legislative <br />Aide as an annual salaried employee in the Department of Council of <br />the City of Lakewood and fixing the salary of said employee. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />· providing for the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section t. That the position of Assistant Legislative Aide as an <br />annual salaried employee in the Department of Council of the City of <br />Lakewood is hereby created and the annual compensation of such <br />employee shall be as follows effective at the time of hire: <br /> <br />BAND G - $9,568 - $17,425 <br /> <br />-Assistant Legislative Aide <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of <br />this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and <br />that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal actions were in meetings <br />open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption a~d approval by the Mayor; otherwise, <br />it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period <br />allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />'Pres i dent' <br /> <br />C'l erk <br /> <br /> <br />
