ORDINANCE NO. 85-88 <br /> <br />BY: Chinnock, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br /> George, Graham, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE exempting the Regional Transit Authority <br />from the prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the Streets and Public <br />Service Code of the Codified Ordinance of the City of Lakewood in <br />order to permit the placement and/or construction of thirteen (13) <br />additional bus shelters at designated locations. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Council of the City of Lakewood hereby <br />exempts the Regional Transit Authority from the prohibitions of Section <br />901.18 of the Streets and Public Service Code of the Codified Ordinanc- <br />es of the City of Lakewood in order to allow for the construction <br />and/or placement of thirteen (13) additional bus shelters as specified <br />by shelter type at the following locations, provided that the condi- <br />tions and the permit procedure requirements, as specified in Section 2 <br />of Ordinance No. 83-78, adopted October 5, 1978, are met: <br /> <br />TYPE REPLACEMENT OR NEW LOCATION <br /> <br />M Rep 1 acement <br />S Replacement <br />M Replacement <br /> Replacement <br />M Replacement <br />M Replacement <br /> Replacement <br />S Replacement <br />S New <br />S New <br />S New <br />S New <br />S New <br /> <br />Sloane/West Clifton (eastbound) <br />W. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in fcrce immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherwise it shall take <br />effect at the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br /> <br />
