ORDINANCE NO . 11-89 <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br /> PLACED ON FIRST READING 3/20/89 <br />PLACED ON SECOND READING 4/3/89 <br /> <br />Brown, Chlnnock, Gallagher, George, <br />Graham, Wendling <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE amending Section 149.07(d) of the <br />Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />Lakewood, revising longevity payments for salaried employees of the <br />City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council has determined <br />practice the benefit of compensation for <br />salaried employees of the City, and <br /> <br />through long standing <br />longevity for regular <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council has determined that such longevity <br />compensation is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of <br />Lakewood and the practice and experience has demonstrated this <br />program's value to our community, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 149.07(d) of the Administrative <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading <br />as follows: <br /> <br />149.07 LONGEVITY COMPENSATION. <br /> <br />(b) . . . <br />(c) . . · <br />(d) Other Full-Time Employees. All other full- <br />time permanent employees of the City shall be paid, <br />in addition to such salary or compensation that may <br />be provided by any other ordinance, additional <br />compensation based on the number of continuous full <br />years of service, including interim military <br />service, as determined on June 15 and December 15 <br />of each year in accordance with the following <br />schedule: <br /> (1) For five years through nine years of service - <br />$100.00; <br />(2) For ten years through fourteen years of <br />service - $125.00; <br />(3) For fifteen years through nineteen years of <br />service - $150.00; <br /> (4) For twenty years or more - $175.00. <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby repealed and amended <br />follows: <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />read <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />149.07 LONGEVITY COMPENSATION. <br /> <br />(b) . . . <br />(c) . . <br />(d) ~e~ular Salaried Employees.
