ORDINANCE NO. 79-89 BY:: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, George, _Graham, Rot.h, Smith AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1989. WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide fo~ the immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That there be appropriated from the General Fund: General Fund $ 740,100 Section 2. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: Street Construction Maintenance & Repair Police Pension Litterless Lakewood Job Training Partnership Act Children's Trust Fund 142,230 14,700 7,000 18,651 22,100 Section 3. That there be appropriated from Debt Service Funds: Bond Retirement Fund $ 16,000 Section 4. That there be appropriated from Capital Improvement Funds: Sewer/Wastewater Improvement $ 10,000 Section 5. That there be appropriated from Enterprise Funds: Wastewater Operating Parking Facilities Fund $ 275,000 485,000 Section 6. That the Director of Finance be and she is hereby authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all claims of the City Council. Section 7. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of the Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements.
