PLACED ON FIRST READING lg/18/89 AND <br />oN SECOaD READinG ]./g/go. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 79-89 <br /> <br />BY:: Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br /> George, _Graham, Rot.h, Smith <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for <br />expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal <br />year ending December 31, 1989. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide fo~ the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from the General Fund: <br /> <br />General Fund $ 740,100 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: <br /> <br />Street Construction Maintenance & Repair <br />Police Pension <br />Litterless Lakewood <br />Job Training Partnership Act <br />Children's Trust Fund <br /> <br />142,230 <br />14,700 <br />7,000 <br />18,651 <br />22,100 <br /> <br />Section 3. That there be appropriated from Debt Service Funds: <br /> <br />Bond Retirement Fund <br /> <br />$ 16,000 <br /> <br />Section 4. That there be appropriated from Capital Improvement Funds: <br /> <br />Sewer/Wastewater Improvement <br /> <br />$ 10,000 <br /> <br />Section 5. That there be appropriated from Enterprise Funds: <br /> <br />Wastewater Operating <br />Parking Facilities Fund <br /> <br />$ 275,000 <br /> 485,000 <br /> <br />Section 6. That the Director of Finance be and she is hereby <br />authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts <br />appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly <br />approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is <br />incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all claims <br />of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 7. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of the Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> <br />
