ORDINANCE NO. 62-91 BY: <br /> <br />Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br />George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for <br />expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal <br />year ending December 31, 1991. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure for the <br />immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety and <br />to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; <br />now therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from the Water Improvement <br />Fund for professional services: <br /> <br />Water Improvement Fund <br /> <br />$ 20,000 <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories fOr the amounts <br />appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly <br />approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is <br />incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all claims <br />of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open' meeting of the Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council. and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the M~LO.r; ~%herwise, it shall take <br />effect and be in force after the earli~..~e~p~r~.~od allowed by law. <br /> <br /> - / ''' ~sident <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
