ORDINANCE NO. 96-91 <br /> <br />BY:Boscia, Gallagher, Gazzana, <br /> George, Graham, Roth, Smith <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for <br />expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal <br />year ending December 31, 1991. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate <br />preservation of the public property, health and safety and to provide <br />for the usual dai'ly operation of municipal departments; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from the Capital Projects <br />Fund: <br /> <br />Capital Improvement Fund <br /> <br />$7,000 <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Acting Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts <br />appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly <br />approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is <br />incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all claims <br />of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance <br />were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immedi~pon its <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor; ot~ <br />and be in force after the earliest per~/~ <br /> <br />Adopted:C~r~ /~j / ~ q} ~ <br />Approved:~~ ~/~u / $ ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
