ORDINANCE NO. 3-92 <br /> <br /> BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section <br />Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances <br />Lakewood regarding mileage allowance. <br /> <br />149.20 of the <br />of the City of <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the creation of positions of Housing Maintenance <br />Officer and Complaint Investigator are not listed in the <br />Administrative Code for payment of mileage allowance consistent <br />with other positions, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br /> providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department <br />in that it is necessary to provide the Housing Maintenance <br /> Officers and Complaint Investigators with mileage allowance for <br /> use of their own private vehicles in conducting City business; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Chapter 149.20 of the Administrative Code <br />of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood now reading as <br />folloWs: <br /> <br />CHAPTER 149 - EMPLOYMENT PROVISIONS. <br /> <br />149.20 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE. <br /> <br />(a) Commencing April 1, 1985, in addition to such salary or <br />compensation as may be provided by any other ordinance, <br />there shall be paid the sum of one hundred twenty-five <br />dollars ($125.00) per month to employees in group one, one <br />hundred dollars ($100.00) to employees in group two and <br />forty dollars ($40.00) to employees in group three holding <br />the positions hereinafter designated, and who are not <br />furnished City owned vehicles for their use in the <br />performance of their duties: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Group one. <br />A. Building inspectors. <br />B. Outreach workers. <br /> <br />(2) Group two. <br /> <br />A. Sanitary officers in the Division of Health. <br />B. Visiting nurses. <br />C. Building Commissioner. <br />D. Assistant Building Commissioner. <br />E. Assistant Commissioner for Housing. <br />F. Meter readers. <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />Group three. <br />A. Home Health Aides. <br />B. Social Service Worker. <br /> (Ord. 19-85. Passed 3-18-85.) <br /> <br />shall be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />CHAPTER 149 - EMPLOYMENT PROVISIONS. <br /> <br />149.20 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE. <br /> <br />(a) Commencing January 1, 1992, in addition to such salary <br />or compensation as may be provided by any other ordinance, <br />there shall be paid the sum of one hundred twenty-five <br />dollars ($125.00) per month to employees in group one, one <br />hundred dollars ($100.00) to employees in group two, forty <br />dollars ($40.00) to employees :in group three and sixty-two <br />dOllars and fifty cents ($62.50) to employees in group four <br />holding the positions hereinafter designated and who are not <br />furnished City owned vehicles for their use in the <br />performance of their duties: <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
