ORDINANCE NO. 92-92 <br /> <br />BY: Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for <br />expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal <br />year ending December 31, 1992. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate <br />preservation of the public property, health and safety and to provide <br />for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that <br />projects already approved and budgeted for 1992 will not be able to <br />be completed this year without this additional appropriation; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from Special Revenue Funds: <br /> <br />Enforcement & Education Fund <br /> <br />$ 10,000 <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts <br />appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly <br />approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is <br />incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all claims <br />of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of <br />this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance <br />were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be 'in force immediately upon its <br /> <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor; otherewise, it <br />and be in force after the earliest perio<~l~~ ~] <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
