ORDINANCE NO. 29-93 <br /> <br />BY:Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br /> Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, <br /> Smith <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor to enter into <br />a loan agreement with the director of the Environmental Protection <br />Agency and Water Pollution Control Loan Fund for an amount not to <br />exceed $660,000.00 for the purpose of financing the construction of a <br />disinfection facility at the Lakewood Wastewater Treatment Plant, <br />utilizing ultraviolet technology. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has deemed it advisable to finance <br />the costs for the construction of a disinfection facility at the <br />Lakewood Wastewater Treatment Plant, utilizing ultraviolet technolo- <br />gy, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety <br />and welfare, and for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- <br />ment and for the further reason that it is necessary to do so in this <br />construction season; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />shall take effect and be in force <br /> <br />afte~~y°~ allowed <br /> <br />by law. <br /> <br />Adopted:_ <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br />Approved:~}'I~ / ~ ~3 <br /> <br /> <br />
