Placed on 1st Reading & Referred <br />to Finance Committee 9/7/93. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 42-93 <br /> <br />BY:Boscia, Gallagher, George, <br />Gibbons, Roth, Seelie, Smith <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for <br />expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal <br />year ending December 31, 1993. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the <br />usual daily operation of municipal departments in that projects <br />already approved and budgeted for 1993 will not be able to be <br />completed this year without this additional appropriation: now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from Commuity Development Block <br /> Grant Funds: <br /> Emergency Shelter Grant $27,000 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated for the Lake House Breakwall <br /> Fund: <br /> Additional Financing Transaction <br /> for Final Assessments $332,200 <br /> <br />Section 4. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts <br />appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly <br />approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is <br />incurred, providing the President of Council shall approve all claims <br />of City Council. -------------~-- <br /> <br />Section 5. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were <br />adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such <br />deliberations of this Council 'and of any of its committees that <br />resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Section <br />measure <br />receives <br />Council, <br />adoption <br />and be in <br /> <br />Adopted:' <br /> <br />6.
